Miracle Blanket-not working
« on: November 27, 2005, 14:28:30 pm »
Hello everyone,

I don't know if many or all of you use the miracle blanket, I have found it just doesn't keep my baby swaddled. Maybe you have some tips or suggestions??? I have wrapped her tightly and securely just like the package mentioned but every night without fail she is out and waking up because of it. I really do not know how she gets out (she is only 7 weeks tomorrow) and I have found her completely turned around in her crib with both hands and feet out??? She is very strong and has been holding her head up straight since 4 weeks and is able to move from one end of her crib to the other by pushing with her feet when on her tummy, as well as 6 weeks she started turning over completely by herself from tummy to back. I am thinking that miracle blanket isn't such a miracle since she can come out of it. Should I stop swaddling her??? I really do not want to. At this time I have had to put her back in the home made swaddler I made with velcro (which works but is getting too small). Please any input or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you, I will try the Aussie swaddle and see how it works. What material did you use for the aussie swaddle?
