Naps on the move
« on: November 28, 2005, 07:32:22 am »
Here is a question for everyone who HAS to go out during nap times. How do you do it> do you feed lo at home nappy change and put lo is stroller till asleep and then go out, OR do you do the EAand the Sleep in the stroller, and when at the end of 3 hour cycle wake her to feed?
Another question is when you put your child down for a nap in the home do you use blackout blinds? My lo is an angel baby. (10weeks old) and I am wondering whether it is neccessary to darken her/my room during the day for her naps?
Again thanks for all the advice

I would do, eat and nappy change - then go straight out as it would take LO a bit of time to settle so this was A time...she would then fall asleep in her carrier or stroller.  Tip: take a dark blanket to put over the stroller when you do want her to settle if she hasn't already fallen asleep.

We use black out blinds, but if it isn't broke...don't fix it
