low supply during AF
« on: November 29, 2005, 01:26:11 am »
I just got my first post-baby period, and have noticed a HUGE drop in supply.  I know that this is normal, but I'm confused about what I should do about it.  Should I offer more frequently? Pump between feeds?  Nothing, and it will be fine?  I'm not overly concerned, since I have a ton of frozen milk, so DS isn't going to starve or anything, but if there's something I could be doing about it, I want to do it.

Thanks so much!

Just try to keep your supply up by nursing often. It should be alright after a few periods. It was for me anyway.

I noticed that when I got mine that it changed my milk some.  So my doc. told me to drink a dark beer, but only one a night or so, and it has to be a dark beer. But I also pumped to help boost my suppley.
Tanner- My active, fun loving 4yr old.
Kaitlyn- My new baby girl.
