Hi there

My DS is 12 weeks old and has been sucking his hand alot for the past 2 weeks - I don't believe it has anything to do with hunger and he's doing it because he's getting control of his hands and now he can do it!

At this time it is usually an oral stimulation/pacifying thing. Try to help guide her thumb to her mouth to show her how to do it.

Be aware of a coming growth spurt around 12 weeks to 3 months old or so and know that she may be more hungry then.
