Catching up on lost sleep
« on: December 02, 2005, 13:41:02 pm »
We have had a rough couple weeks with colds, lots of doctor appts, family visiting.  Dd (10.5mos) is woefully overtired.  She has been sleeping in an extra 30-45min the last few mornings.  How long can I let this go on before it starts to screw up our routine in the long run?

I personally wouldn't worry about an extra 30min sleep in.  If it's still working for your dd I'd say she's fine with it.  It will change again anyway as she gets older, so just be on the look out for changing cues or if things are not quite working any more, then tweak it.  My dd can wake up anywhere from 6.30-7.30am.
