Increase in Spit Up
« on: December 05, 2005, 15:42:15 pm »
Over the last 2 days my lo has had a big increase in the amount of spit up.  Could this be a sign of not being long enough between feedings (hence, overfeeding)?  She is on a 2.5-3 hour EASY but is waking up before the E.  Should I try EASASE and pushing to 3.5 hours between feeds.
If she's awake and near me she wants to eat, but if she's napping happily she will last longer.  I just don't want to mess with her nightime sleep (7pm down, df at 11, feed at 4:30ish, sleep until 7-7:30) by extending nap time.  I don't know if any of this makes sense.  I'm a little frustrated with the spit up.
Thanks
~Rachel

Is she starting to kick her legs? I found a huge increase in spit up around that time because they started moving around. BIBS were a huge help. My first child's 0-6 month clothing is ruined from all the spit up stains, she was a projectile spitter.
