So he is on Soy formula right now or he is getting some cow's milk? If he is getting cow's milk, what % is it or is whole?

I'm not sure if a rash is a symptom as well but when my ds turned 1 and was put on whole milk he also started developing some of the symptons you are describing (runny nose, diarrea, etc.). My ped. told me he was getting too much fat from the whole milk and had me switch to 2% milk. It solved the problem. Of course, I can't be sure this is the situation your lo is in but you may want to keep it in the back of your mind. Good luck.

Hi Holly

Think you're gonna need to keep your options open on this one as it sounds like it could be one of a number of things as you've sai yoursel.

There may be an issue with milk or full fat milk rather than dairy products - some people can tolderate dairy/milk to a certain degree and when you tip that balance you can see intolerances and allergies manifest themselves.

I would go VERY slowly with the milk and egg and never try them both within the same three day period in order to try and identify a pattern. Stop immediately if you see a reaction that has symptoms of facial swelling or breathing difficulties and contact your doc.

Hopefully it is just a nasty viral bug.
