Teething and sick not eating so much

My 6 month old has an ear infection and a cold and is teething. ya we have had a tough week. she is not eating as much is this normal? she is acting ok. I have read this can happen when they are sick and teething. she is also very stuffy and I think when she takes the bottle it makes it hard for her to breath. just curious. she is taking about 1/2 of her bottles maybe a little more at times and not interested in her solids. this was just yesterday and today. started Amoxycillin yesterday. thanks

The fact that she is still taking her liquids is a good thing!!  As long as you feel she is getting enough fluid, don't worry about her skipping solids for a bit.

Great taste, I must agree. Do you get more people thinking she's a boy or a girl? Even though I consider it a much more feminine than masculine name, most assume she's a boy (when they hear the name, not see her). :wink: How old is your Avary?

I'm going through this same thing!  I thought I was going to go crazy today!  He wouldn't eat, didn't want to lay down to sleep, and didn't even want me to hold him.  He's even been refusing his df!  I hate that he's so uncomfortable!

yes, most people think she is a boy. even though I have her in very girly outfits most of the time. I think it is more a girl name too. Today she took a bit more food. she took her solids. she did not eat as much as usual with the solids, but she took it and that made me happy. she also took her bottles today. she woke at 4 am starving. I fed her of course. I think it was make up time from the past few days. she is tough to settle down for naps as well. she woke a few times last night. hope this goes away fast...
