On the right track? HELP

I just started my new nap routine after finding this site.  I love the book!

Here is how the last 2 days have gone - we just started him on stage 1 food

Day 1

6:00 up
6:20 4 oz formula mixed with rice cereal
active til 8:00
4 oz formula and then down til 10
10:45 4 oz formula
12:30 1 jar carrots 4 oz milk
1:00 down
4:00 up 6 oz bottle
cat nap around 6 ish for 30 minutes
7:20 2 jars carrots
8:30 down for the night with a 6 oz bottle

he woke up at 3:50 - We tried the pats -and the pacifier -but his tummy was growling so we gave him a 4 oz bottle

Day 2
7:00 up
7:20 4 oz formula with rice cereal
9:00 4 oz bottle and down
11:15 up 3 oz bottle
1:00 2 jars carrots 3.5 oz bottle
1:30 down and as of 3:15 still sleeping

are we on the right track?

a couple of key questions first

how old is your little boy?

are you feeding him to sleep - you mention the bottle and then "down"
or is he going into bed awake ?

He is a little over 4 months - we do give him a bottle before he goes down but he is usually still semi awake when we put him down - I think I should start giving him the bottle a few minutes before we put him down - the most important thing to me right now is getting him to nap
