At night that is. I am trying to add a meal to my lo solids schedule. Currently he only eats breakfast. My problem is I don't want to do it too late in the day because I don't want him pooping at night. How late is too late or how early is too early?

You are right! I gave him rice yesterday (has been having just pears and oatmeal) and he hasn't pooped since. Urgh!!!!

I have actually found that, since my LO went onto 3 meals a day plus a yogurt/fromage frais an hour before bedtime, he doesnt poop at night anymore.

I just presumed this was his digestive system becoming more mature.

chelsea - hope things have gotten better as far as the bm's are concerned...with some lo's (like mine) their digestive system is soo touchy with the foods they eat.  let me know how things are working out.
