Do you all premake your formula ahead of time?? and do you serve it to them cold or warm??  I read so many posts where people would make it ahead of time and keep it in the fridge and then give it to them??  I just make it when its time to feed her, and i give it to her warm, just like her breastmilk was....now I am wondering if she would prefer it cold or cool like milk now that she is older. :)

i always made the feeds up the night before, then let them cool and put them in the fridge.when it was feed time i would just warm it slightly. now ds is older he has one bottle of rice milk for breakfast and i still pour it in bottle and put it in the fridge and warm it when he's ready although he will drink it cold now.i just found it easier to prepare the feeds at night and have them ready.a few friends of mine carry the formula and a bottle of water and prepare it just before feeding.

I make a days worth of bottles each afternoon/evening and keep them in the fridge.  We warm them when she's ready to eat - can't say the temp is always consistent, sometimes it's just enough to take the edge off, sometimes it's nice and warm.  She doesn't seem to mind - although  she really doesn't like them straight out of the fridge.

Im exactly the same as above. We make them all up at night - pop them in the fridge and warm them a little bit before feeding. He hates them too cold and refuses them so I have to warm them a little.

Little bit of clarification - we keep a measuring cup in our bathroom and the overnight bottles in a cooler.  When DD wakes up, we pop the paci to buy us a minute or two, use hot tap water in the measuring cup to heat the bottle.  When DD starts crying again, the bottle has warmed enough to take the edge off.  Not warm, just not cold.

When our DD got to about 4/5 months we stopped warming her bottles and just gave them to her at room temp.

I bought a formula divider (it has 3 compartments that you fill with the right amount of formula per bottle). I would make up the bottles with boiled water and then just add the formula from the divider when she was ready for a feed.

It was so much easier when we were out and about (no need for a cooler) and in the middle of the night (no messing about with the bottle warmer/hot water).

The formula divider was definitley my best baby buy.
