Hello,

I'm looking for a little advice... we're almost there but we've hit a snag.  Grace is 6 months and a little bit.  We've been doing pick/put for a week or so, and that's helping a lot.   We've gone from several night wakings to usually just one.  The trouble is that now our sweet one wakes up around 2.00 and stays up (mainly crying) until about 4.00.  From there she'll go back to sleep until around 7 or 8.  She's not hungry, and usually isn't sensative about diaper issues.  When she wakes, we do pu/pd, though pu-ing usually doesn't help her settle at all.  Have any of y'all experienced this?  What do we do??

thanks much

-holly

What is her day routine like...it may be that now she isn't losing all the sleep from waking that she is getting too much in the day & so doesn't need it at night.

can you post your average day...wakeup/naps/bedtime?

sure--

7 - wake up, eat
8:30 or 9:00 nap
10 to 11 sometime - wake up
11 - eat
1 or 1:30 nap
3 - wake up, eat
5 - mini nap
6 - eat
7 - bath, cuddle, etc.
7:30 bed

normally between her morning and afternoon naps, one is 1.5 hr and one is 2 hr, and her mini nap in the evening is usually 30-45 mins.  Sometimes the naps don't go so well, and wind up being half raging and half sleeping.

thanks very much for your help.
