My DD thinks she's a puppy
« on: December 18, 2005, 23:04:27 pm »
We don't have a dog, so I don't think she is imitating one.  She pants, grunts (when not pooping), she'll even start chewing on a toy and when she turns to reach for another toy, she just hangs onto the chew toy in her mouth.  It's hysterical.  She blows raspberries too, but mostly she pants and makes sounds.  Anyone else's LO do this?  She's not babbling yet, which I guess is OK at her age.  Just making sounds.

I love it when my dd hangs a toy out of her mouth (often a small soft toy), while reaching for something else.  She has only started to babble in the last month as well (something I was reading tonight says that babbling usually starts between 7-9mths) - we now have do, da, hi, ha, brub in a big babbled jumble along with little funny bird type squawks.
