How often does your lo poo?

Hi,

my 10.5 month old seems to poo about 3 times a day and will ocasionally do it when he's napping or during his night sleep. It drives me nuts. When do they start pooing only when they are awake so it won't interfere with their bedtime or their naps?

i guess all babies are different.ryan has only ever pooed once a day.it always seems to be the same time everyday.ryan does suffer with consipation though!!!!!!
   the suggestion we had from our health visitor ( not that she has helped us much )was to feed them extra at the time you want them to poo and they will get the urge to go sooner.so if you want to avoid night time pooing feed extra at dinner and snacks that way they are full sooner and should get the urge before bed. this never worked for us as ryan was suffering really badly with constipation untill he went on lactulose (sugar based med )he now goes regular without straining.
