9/10 month old schedule?
« on: December 19, 2005, 21:22:48 pm »
DS has been on the same schedule for awhile but now seems to be changing it and I'm thinking maybe I'm not giving him enough A time and I'm also now having issues with napping, some days he naps for 2- 2hr naps and other days only 1- 2 hr and 1- 1/2 hr. Anyone what to share there schedule? Also, if you give 3 bottles per day when and how much do you give, with his crazy naps were having issues getting enough formula in per day.

630am- Wake
700am- 8oz bottle
800am- Cereal and Fruit
9am- Nap for 1 1/2 hr or so
11am- 5oz bottle
12 or 1230pm- Lunch
100pm- Nap for 1/2 hr to 2 hrs
3pm- 5 oz bottle
530p-Dinner
630 or 7p- 8oz bottle and bed

9/10 month old schedule?

Hi!
With his naps being a little out of wack....it's ok to give a bottle before the nap if that helps get more calories in :D   You try to avoid that when they are younger to avoid having the bottle being a prop/overfeeding.

When Zoe was 10 months, this was her schedule:

6:30-7:00 wake
8:00 Breakfast w/sippy
9:30-10:15 - nap (I offered the sippy before she went down...usually only took an ounce or two)
11:00-11:30 Lunch with sippy
1:00-3:00 (give or take) nap
2-3 Snack with sippy
5-5:30 - Dinner with sippy
6:30-7:00 Bottle (sippy now)

9/10 month old schedule?

at 10 months (just yesterday  :D ) this is Olivia's routine:
wake up time averages 6:30
7ish breakfast
8:30 bottle
9/9:15 down for nap
wakes either 45min later or sometimes does 1- 1.5 hrs
11/11:30 lunch
12:30/12:45 bottle
1:15 down for nap - generally sleeps 1:30-3pm but can go as long as 2.25 hrs and can start as late as 2pm
5/5:30 dinner
6:30 first offer bottle
6:45 or so bath
7:15 finish bottle and down for bed before 7:30

her first 2 bottles are 8oz offered and she takes anywhere from 6 1/2 - 8 oz.  her bedtime bottle is actually extra big as after dropping Df and then to 3 bottles she was crying out for more 20 min afetr going to bed so now we offer her 8 oz before her bath and she takes anwhere from 3-6oz and then we add an extra 2-3 oz so she takes in total anywhere from 9-10 1/2 oz  :D  she has always (since day 1) fed the most at her bedtime feed (she eats very little for breakfast regardless of how much she drinks the night before)

In Australia the recommendation is that by 9 mo you make the switch to solids first and then milk and also the goal is a minimum of 21oz/day of formula or BM.

DD has fallen into this schedule at 10 months:
8:00 4 oz soids, 7 oz bottle
10:15 wind down then nap (1.5 hrs)
12:00-12:30 4 oz solids, 8 oz bottle
3:30 wind down then nap (1.5 hrs)
5:00-5:30 sippy with watered-down juice, 4 oz solids, finger foods
7:30 8 oz bottle
8:00 bed

You could either wake him after an hour from the first nap or length his A time before his second nap. or possibly both at 10 months.
