Would you buy a used breastpump from ebay?

eewww....no way!  You never know where it's been.

No, it's used so you don't really know what shape the motor's in so you might be wasting your money.

Yes, but I'd throw out all the "accessories" and buy new ones, and only have the used motor.
5 (20%)
Yes, as long as it was "gently used" and I could sterilize everything really well.

I would be more worried about the health of the person you're buying from because you cannot completely sterilize a "commercial" grade pump.  "Hospital" grade pumps can be fully sterilized, including replacing motors and such, which commercial grades cannot.

I also looked on Ebay and saw some new ones for still cheap dollar.  Can you find one of those???

I totally would.  I borrowed my friend's pump in style that's 8 years old and has been loaned to several other mommies.  I just bought my own horns and bottles (is that what they're called?).  None of the other parts even touch your EBM.  Just buy from a reputable seller.

Stacy, that's odd.  I'll try it again.

I have put in a few bids on the new pumps on ebay, but keep getting out-bid.  Oh well.

For now, I think I'm just going to hope that the one I have lasts until I can afford to get a new one.

Thanks for all the input ladies.

Du yous not get them on prescription from the gyn? Our chemists supply the electrical ones for a loan of 5€/3£/8$ a month. Is that only in Germany?
