just wondering if it's really worth doing the EASY routine due to the fact that my LO is just over 4 months (or 18 weeks yesterday).

She's sleeping well at night, she's going to bed around 7ish, sometimes it's slightly later if she stops at grandma's, and slleps through till any time after 5 in the morning.

Unfortunately as far as feeds go she isn't going 4 hours between feeds during the day, but she is going anywhere around 9 hours between her last bottle of the night and first bottle of the morning, so I just feed her when she wants to be fed.

I just wondered if it was worth trying to see if she'll go 4 hours between feeds during the day.  We have no set routine during the day as far as bottle feeding goes, so I can't tell you on here as to when she has her bottle.

What's that saying... if it ain't broken don't fix it?!

I'm trying desperately to put my 9 week lo on EASY. I was HAPPY that
she sleeps 5 hours straight at night... until I read about your 9 HOUR STRETCH OF BEAUTIFUL SLEEP!

Unless you hate the lack of a daily routine for feeding, and unless you are feeding every hour, I'd leave things they way they are.

I'm so envious! :)

Welcome to BW.    It's great that you and your lo seem to be getting along so well thus far.  I am a big advocate for structure and routine.  It helps the baby feel settled and secure.  I can't explain it any better than Tracy did in her book, so let me share with you a little from that.  A baby needs the parent to guide them, not the other way around.  In turn, you as the parent will have the confidence that you understand your baby's needs.  With EASY, Tracy says that you are less likely to overfeed or underfeed a baby on a routine, the baby on a structured routine is less likely to become overstimulated with proper activity time, the baby will have the proper amount of sleep it needs both during the day and at night, and you will be able to have time to yourself with a more predictable day.
