Sleeping bag for a 19mth old
« on: January 01, 2006, 10:18:25 am »
Hi,

My dd has been using a sleeping bag since she was 6mth old and it has ensured that she slept longer and that she didn't try to climb out of her cot bed when she woke up.

Her naps are shorter without the sleeping bag. I've never had her without it for night sleep.

I'm wondering if it's ok to continue with it or should I stop?

Thanks!
Cheers,

Catharine

you can get sleeping bags that do up to 6 years old so if you and your lo are happy with her in a sleeping bag then carry on!!

If it's not broke, don't fix it!  Sounds like  you have a great situation and I wouldn't change a thing until your child wants to!

My ds used a sleeping bag up until he was a little over 2 years old. I LOVE them as they prevent climbing and you know that they are warm and toasty!

Thanks everyone.

I thought that the sleeping bag was a sleeping prop but I feel much better about it now.

Just ordered 2 more grobags from the website recommended by Seona. I used to get them through Mothecare but it was quite limited, this site is much better.

Thanks!
Cheers,
