Sleeping Too Long?
« on: January 02, 2006, 17:16:56 pm »

Ronnie is eighteen months this month and he is breastfed and on solids. Although he hates lumps!
Thing is he's gone from being in our bed until he was a year to going in his own cot (with the help of PI/PD!!) to now sleeping alot more!
He goes down about 8pm and sleeps till 9.am, he wakes for one or two feeds and then during the day has a really long nap for like 3 hours! Is that too long? Could he be ill? He seems healthy, gaining weight etc. Or is he just like me and loves his sleep? LOL

Hi

Congrats on getting him into his own crib!!

I count that to be 16hrs total w/ day and night...my LO likes 14hrs total and she is 16mos.

Unless he is not eating or has other signs of being un-well...i think he may just love his sleep like you - so enjoy!

Thankyou! He is well, he's happy and runs around alot and has two older brothers to play with so maybe that's it. Gosh, I'd moan if he didn't sleep wouldn't I? LOL
