Hi, I'm new here. Just a quick question. My daughter is almost 7 weeks old. She's used to feed for about 20-30min every 3-4hours, and would go for about 5hour stretches through the night. Now we're lucky if we can get her to eat for 10min every 3-4hours. She seems content and is having adequate amounts of bowel movements and wet diapers and has gained weight well (however, she hasn't been weighed in about 2.5weeks). I have a large milk supply and fast let down, so do you think she's just becoming more efficient?? I just worry she's not getting enough. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

tracy talks about babies eating more efficintly as time progresses. I have a newborn who eats every 2 to 3 hours for 10 min. and i have a fast letdown too. I wouldnt worrie about it at all. just extend her play time, or sleap time.

That's normal. Most babies become efficient around 6-10 weeks and they can be finished in 5 to 10 minutes. Looks like your lo is doing great.
