Dd is refusing 4 pm bottle so what is the recommended age for taking it out and if you do so what do you give instead? What do you recommend as a snack?

I think you just have to go with it, my dd stopped the 4 pm bottle around 8 months or so and i started to give her a snack like grahmn crackers or yogurt, and maybe a sip of water in a sippy.

My DS is 6 months and I have dropped the 11:30 bottle as he would drink that one and not be interested in his 2:30 bottle.  He is on food and was only taking 4oz at 11:30 so did not think that it was a big deal dropping it - he does see a lot more interested in his 2:30 bottle now.  He drinks roughly about 22 - 24oz a day.

My dd is doing the same thing. She is refusing her afternoon bottle...it is also effecting her before bed bottle. Is this normal? Is she getting too many solids?

I am a little confused because at 9 months you offer solids before milk. Is my dd just starting to do this a little early? When this happens do they start consuming less milk?

For the past 4 days Kay has not been having the 24+ ozs the doctor says she is supposed to have per day. I am concerned that she is not getting enough milk.

My daughter is just over 5 months and we have just dropped her to 3 bottles as she would hardly have any of her bottle at 11am then wolf down her 3pm bottle then not want alot of her 7pm bottle. So we now give her a bottle between when she was having her 11&3 bottle at 1pm and she usually drinks the whole lot sometimes leaving 20mls. She also drinks all of her 7pm bottle as well. All i did was increase her other bottles and she is drinking more now she is having 3 bottles than when she was having 4. She is also on 2 solid meals a day and soon i will incease that to 3. In totally she has about 27oz a day and is putting on healthy amounts of weight.
