Always Yawning
« on: January 05, 2006, 18:34:23 pm »
My 10 WO dd is always yawning.  She even yawns within minutes of waking up.  Luckily, she is never really that fussy.  She is an Angel/Textbook baby and is usually very pleasant --lots of smiles and laughs.

We started EASY and independent sleep a week ago and before this her sleeping pattern, at least naps, were all over the place.  She didn't really take regular naps.  Now, the naps are better and she goes to sleep on her own most of the time.  (However, still struggling with short naps.)  DD also still wakes 1-2 times at night.

Could she be really this tired all the time for so long now?  Should I put her down for a nap with every yawn?

probably not; i know i sometimes yawm after i wake up in the morning

sounds like she's starting to get her sleeping better organized; bet you see even more improvement in the next couple weeks - at least, until her 12-week growth spurt hits!
