Any 3.5 hour EASY routines out there?? Willing to share??
« on: January 06, 2006, 00:49:25 am »
My dd is 12 weeks today and I am finding that she can go longer than 3 hours between feeds.  So, since she isn't 4 months yet, I wanted to start her E time every 3.5 hours to make the 4 hour EASY not as shocking to her.

Any sample routines??  I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Sydney's Mom..

My little one is kinda of on a 3.5 hour schedule.  I think it really depends on what kind of schedule you are on now though.  Charlie (my sons) day starts at 7am so here is how his day goes:

7am Wake/Feed
7:20 - 8:30 Activity Time
8:30 - 10:15 Sleep
10:15 Wake/Feed
10:35 - 12:00 Activity Time
12:00 - 1:30 Sleep
1:30 Wake/Feed
1:50 - 3:00 Activity Time
3:00 - 4:45 Sleep
4:45 Wake/Feed
5:00 - 6:15 Activity Time
6:15 - 7:00 Cat Nap
7:15 Feed (usually wakes up from cat nap on his own)
7:30 - 8:00pm bath time
8:00 Bed time

I've been trying to stretch him to a 4 hour schedule and so far we've adapted very well to the 3 hour 15 mintue schedule.  (I just increased his wake time and feed time by 15 minutes)  You can tweak your current schedule in 15 mintute increments to get to where you want to be.  In order to get to a 4 hour schedule I am just going to increase activity time, reduce one feeding, and combine 2 of the later naps.

Hope this helps you.  I'm sure you'll get it.

Hello,

I did a 3-4hour routine for a long time.  Our typical day was this:

wake around 6:30am
E 7:00
S 8:30 nap1
E 10:45
S 12:30 nap2
E 2:30
S 4:00 catnap
E5:30
S 6:30
E 10:00 df

Hope that helps, Tarri
