I just started my LO on Oats cerial and apple sauce. We started with rice but she got bad rashes from it. We started sdolids on the recomendation of her PED.
She gets Oats and Apple sauce, she's been good with both.
My question is in regards to her bottle. I've been feeding the solids for 3 weeks now and in the last few days I noticed she's not eating as much Forumla, she's down to 3 a day and a dream feed. The first one of the morning is usually 4 oz, then her next 2 are 8 oz, and her dream feed is usually about 6oz. I just need to know if I should be concerned that she's not getting enough without her normal number of bottles. Or is she still getting what she needs? so far I she doesn't seem to have any adverce reactions but I'd rather be safe.

At her age, it's still extremely important to make sure that she's getting plenty of formula. It still needs to be her main source of nutrition for many more months. She should be getting 26-32 oz per day with however many bottles it takes. If she's losing interest in bottles, you may want to consider cutting back on the amount of solids she's eating. Also, you didn't mention what order her meals are in...if you're concerned about formula intake, your best bet is to try and offer the bottle first, then the solids meal (you can offer that right after or later, up to you). HTH!

Thanks it does..
However, how to I get her to stop fighting the bottle? Its starting to feel like abattle to give it to her.
I only give her solids first thing in the morning, and then at about 5
Should I maybe cut that to once a day for now?
