how to stop the dreaded 230 am feeds

my little one is 5 months old and she wakes up all the time at 230 am. and 430 am to feed.  we started the pu pd and i am doing the dream feed and feeding her at 7pm 9pm and the 11pm feed. how do i get her off the 230 am feed

If it is pretty much exactly 2.30am, try wake to sleep, where you go in & resettle them an hour before the habitual wake up.

Although if you have been feeding at that time, I would actually suggest that you cut back on the feed first... there is a sticky at the top of the forum that outlines how one mother cut back on bottle feeding & also some steps for bf if you are bf.

The other thing is that feeding 2 hourly in the evening past about 3 months old can actually increase the need to night feed rather than decrease, so it is often better to offer a 7pm & then a 10.30 or 11pm feed as they take a full feed at the later time, not a 'top up'
