Too much playtime
« on: January 12, 2006, 00:16:53 am »
Hi, my 9 week old ds has just discovered how exciting playtime can be and wants to play all the time. I have been using EASY for the last 4 weeks and the routine has been great - however now after Activity when l try and put ds to sleep he will stay awake and then find something to play with in his bed even if it is just laughing at the wall. Should l be extending his playtime (at the moment we are up for between an hour - an hour and a half) or putting him to bed and ignoring his laughs / screams to get up?

i don't have time to write much but wanted to ask a quick question, how long do you think your lo would stay up if you waited til you saw some tiredness signs (a yawn for example)
its great that your ds can entertain himself for a bit in his crib but not so great if he never sleeps!!! (i should know, my son is not a fan of the sleeping)
