my daughter, 13 weeks, will only take 1-2 oz of a bottle to quench her thirst, then she plays with the nipple.  I would like to eliminate a couple of the breastfeeds during the day.  Any suggestions?

I am nursing her every three hours mostly.  Sometimes she is hungry in less than three hours but sometimes, if she sleeps, I'll let her go an extra 1/2 hour. 

She sucked down a bottle (2 oz, plus another 1.5 oz) the other night because I was completely depleted I think, so I decided to continue to try the 7 pm feeding with the bottle, but she refused it for the following 2 nights with horrible screaming.

I would like her to at least not mind taking the bottle so that I can take outings with my older daughter, who is 22 months.

Thanks for the advice.

So are you pumping when you miss the feedings to keep up your supply?

You may try someone else offering the bottle, she may refuse it from you because she'd prefer to nurse.
