Question! Early wakings and Solids?
« on: January 13, 2006, 14:39:41 pm »
Hello!

I'm wondering...do our babies naturally change their patterns so as to anticipate the transition from 4 hour EASY to 3 meals/3 bottles?  I ask because it seems from reading the early wakings board that many babies at age 5-6 months start waking at 5 or 6 instead of 7.  Should I consider a 5am wakeup a cue to give a bottle, thereby my babies will be ready for a solids breakfast 4 hours later at 9?  Right now I've been delaying that morning feed as long as possible to try to get back onto our old 4 hour EASY, and providing solids just before the 11am feed.  Do you guys recommend going with the flow instead?  It's so hard to know when to be "in charge and setting the routine" and when to be intuitive...it's doubly hard for me because one of my babies has started solids and one refuses...

Aargh! Confused!
