I had to wean my daughter for medical reasons, but I pumped for a while to slowly dry up my supply. I dropped one feed/pumping session every 3 to 4 days until I was down to one a day (in the mornings). I stopped all together yesterday and I think it worked. It took me about 3 weeks, but it was worth it to not be in pain. I did try to go cold turkey and I was MISERABLE so I did the slow approach. Good luck!
