dreamfeed question
« on: January 15, 2006, 15:26:16 pm »
Last night my lo started to cry 15 min before her dreamfeed.  I panicked b/c she had been addicted to bf before sleep and we were up every 2 hrs before we got her on EASY.  I'm wondering if I should have let her get back to sleep and done the df later?  (usually she has the df at 10:30)  She did wake up a couple times after that in the same way but I did not respond and she put herself back tosleep.  Is this okay that she cried out for her df (if that is indeed why she cried out)?  SHould i not stress about it?  If she does it again tonight should I ignore?

sounds to me that you are doing what I would do. not worth putting her back to sleep only to wake up 5 mins later. every night is slightly different so just roll with it
happy sleeping

ditto clare: i would just feed her, she is probably expecting her feed about then.  our lo was sometimes awake for his dreamfeed, sometimes not and it was no big deal - even though i worried about it tons because we had a hard time breaking the feeding-to-sleep habit.
