putting my 6 month old on EASY- sleep question
« on: January 16, 2006, 23:15:05 pm »
I'm putting my 6 month old on a routine for the first time.
He cosleeps with us but we are willing to move him to his crib if it helps him get on a schedule.
He has never slept in his crib and when I tried to get him to for naps today, it was miserable.

My question is -
Can I put him in his crib for naps and in the bed with us for nighttime? Or would this confuse him too much?
He can't go to sleep on his own yet.

I think it would probably confuse him and might make him fight you for naps.  He also might end up not liking his crib since he still gets cuddled by you all night long.  I would try to get him to sleep in his crib for every sleep.  Good luck.
