avocado help!

I've never cut open an avocado before so I"m not sure what it's suppose to look like.  Is it okay that it has brown stuff in it?

A little bit of brown is fine. It doesn't mean the avocado is bad but you can scrape it off if you want to too. Hth!  :)

Brown is fine as long as it's not moldy with the pit already falling out.  The browner and mushier on the outside, the more ripe and better it is.
