Anyone stop the Dream Feed cold turkey??

I am thinking that this is going to be my method of choice.  My seven month old drinks 8 oz 4 times per day PLUS three melas of solids, so, I don't really know that I can add more ounces to his bottles or they'll overflow!  :-)

What we're doing right now is just bumping it up an hour.  I'm thinking that we should just stop giving it and see what happens.  Any thoughts?

Hello :)  We dropped both of them cold turkey, but they were closer to 3 months....we didn't have any problems.  I say try it and see what happens :)

Well, I guess it is the weekend, so if I'm up all night tonight and tomorrow, who cares, right?  :-)

Not so good.  He woke up at 10:30 MAD.  We tried pu/pd and he was not having any of it.  He was hungry.  So, I guess we'll keep it for a little while longer.  He'll drop it by the time he startd kindergarten, right?  ;-)

Hi Amy

Sounds like the cold turkey method didn't go down too well!! Eek!!

You could try reducing the amount you give by an Ounce  a day until you're only giving one ounce, then don't give on the night after. That might ease the transition a bit.
