accidental profanity correcting in posts? ** RESOLVED**
« on: January 22, 2006, 23:48:56 pm »
Seems the profanity detector has gone off the deep end and is picking up bad words in the MIDDLE of perfectly okay words.  Which, ironically, forces you to figure out the bad word as you're trying to read and understand what the original word was in the first place!!  Can we turn this off so it doesn't pick up in the middle?

Examples I've seen:
c-i-r-c-u-m-s-t-a-n-c-e = cir!@!stance
c-a-r-s-e-a-t = c!@!@at

julie - if you look in your profile there's a box you can check that will turn off the censoring.

Hey - vaccumming may offend people.

I know it offends me!  :)
