At that age it should be fine to leave your lo to wake up naturally when they are hungry. If you keep waking her you will be disturbing her natural sleep patterns and could end up with habitual waking. Your lo will make up for the lost feeds during the day (which is what you want!)

take care

My daughter was sleeping 10hrs from 8pm to 6am at 6 weeks and 12hrs at around 3 months. It is fine as long as they are happy healthy and putting on weight it shouldn't be a problem. You are one of the lucky ones if she is sleeping through the night take advantage of it  ;)

Yep, at this age, absolutely let her sleep  :)  Sounds like you have a great sleeper on your hands - yay!!!  ;D

I have to agree, if her weight is good I don't think waking her would be a good idea as she is establishing her own sleep patterns by now. She sounds like a star :)

I remember asking my doctor this and she thought I was crazy! She said let her sleep! I was worried because I was bf'ing at the time.  I think in the end it did affect my supply but she got her sleep.  She stopped bf'ing at 5.5 months because my supply was too low.  But my DD slept well almost from the beginning as well and I think a lot had to do with NOT waking her up to feed.

Gosh how jealous am I :) But then my LO is still ill. Goodness knows how quickly we'll be able to get back into routine once this filthy cold has gone again, but we'll see. She did it in 4 nights last time so fingers crossed!
