ok, this is a gross question, but...
i know that one of the signs of allergy is runny poop. my question is, is the poop only runny about 24h later when the allergenic food comes out, or can an allergy cause a few runny poops?

Depends on if you cut the offending food back out of his/her diet. If it was only a one time deal it should clear out within a couple days. If you were unable to detect which food was the culprit it take a little longer. Good luck.
