Weird question

My LO is 5 months old and is teething badly. She's been teething on and off since she was 2 months old, she's never been to bad with it untill this week.
Now she wont eat, she's not napping as well and things are a bit of a mess. All things I can deal with. My main problem is as follows.
The last 2 days my LO wont eat while being held. She'll eat her solids fine, but when it comes time for bottles she screams untill I lay her down flat and let her eat while laying down.
My question, is that normal? should I fight her on it or leave it be?
She drinks with me or DP holding the bottle for a few minutes then she holds the bottle for herself with little help.
Is it time for me to encourage her to feed herself??

Hi Karita,

My DD has been doing this since about 4.5months, I think as long as she taking her milk that is all what matters. 

My DD struggles to get out of my arms when I give her a bottle, refuses it, until I lay her down on the settee, head propped up on a cushion, then and only then will she will take her bottle.  Sometimes she refuses the bottle until she is laying flat on the floor.
