does anyone start their day after 7, like around 8 or 8:30?
« on: January 30, 2006, 17:37:58 pm »
Hi, everyone-
My lo doesn't get up until around 8 or 8:30 every day.  I tried to get him up at 7 as suggested and he did awful.  I did it for over a week and it wasn't getting any better, so I went back to him "naturally" getting up which is typically around 8.  I am just wondering if anyone does this too and if you do, how do you tweak your EASY schedule?
Thanks!
Erica

Yes we start our day at 8:30.  Ewan did it on his own so we went with it. ;D

My lo also wakes somewhere between 7:30-8:30.  Just adjust times on the EASY schedule (ours is 4 hour) according to when he woke.

Ours also just recently started moving to 8-8:30 am.  He is always in bath by 7-715pm and in bed by 8pm. I'm enjoying it much more then the 640am wake up time and Jackson seems to be enjoying me being happier because of it too!  ;)

My DD also gets up around 8. The earliest she has ever gotten up is 7:30 and the latest is 10.. but that was when she had a bad night and I didn't dare wake her up earlier then that she was so crabby. Every baby has their own internal clock that says when it is time to get up for the day. I Just go with Allison's needs, if she wants to wake up later then that is fine, I just do a 3 hour easy from the time she wakes.

When DD was younger, our day started at 8.30ish, which was fine by me!! As she's got older she seems to wake earlier though, and it's usually 7.30 now.
I just adjusted EASY to whatever time she'd woken up,

Tyler's day has always started between 8-8:30. He's always been this way, and I'm perfectly happy with it!

you lucky families, that sound nice, dd has just sleeping till 7.15/7.45 and i love it, the only thing is it delays the morning routine and if we want to do any planned activities like music etc then we have to really rush, enjoy sleeping in if you can, i would have adjusted the 4 hour routine as well, we always let dd wake up naturally
