DS will be 1 year old in two weeks (where does the time go??). He is still BF and not a great solids eater yet. He had excema for the first 6 months and when I tried him with baby yoghurt at 8 months he had an immediate allergic reaction (hives all over face which disappeared in about 1/2 an hour). I have avoided dairy ever since and know that an allergic reaction to dairy under 12 months is common especially with excema babies. I am working up the courage to re-introduce dairy to see if he has outgrown the allergy but would appreciate feedback from anyone else who has been through this. Is 12 months too soon? Has anyone had success / failure with this that they can share?

Thanks,
Melanie.
