Recipe for fruit/nut/seed bars?
« on: February 01, 2006, 21:19:51 pm »

hey, does anyone have a recipe for a fruit/seed/nut bar?

we have been buying the purple Organic Goodies bars (in UK) made with Pumpkin Seed, Sunflowers Seeds and Raisins (great for Omega 3 oils!!) and Iggy LOVES them... but ouch are they pricey! 43p each! Thats 76cents in US!

so i figure they msut be easy to make right?

any ideas?

thanks!

I posted the same thing last week as Holly loves the fruit bars, but no luck, everyone said great idea, let me know if you find one though!!!!

I'm just going to try it myself with the ingredients and see how it goes!!! I think its the sunflower oil that binds it together so i guess its just trial and error getting the right proportion of all the ingredients?
