Activities for first birthday party
« on: February 03, 2006, 06:57:22 am »
Hi, my son is about to turn 1 (march 10), so i'm planning a birthday party. The thing is, here in Guatemala is traditional to have a piņata for kids to play, but i can't do that because there aren't enough kids. Besides, i' d like my boy to enjoy his party, so i'm thinking some kind of activities for his age. Any ideas?

I'm not sure how it all works, but is it possible to have all the adults paticipate in the pinata as well and help out the kids to have a go?  Sounds fun!

I don't have any ideas on activities as I didn't do any and neither did any of the parties we attended.  We just had some toys set up that the kids could play with while the adults chatted.  Guess you're not thinking messy? Otherwise you could do finger painting or set up some containers for water play, perhaps some balls for rolling around or maybe some skittles set up?
