waking and talking
« on: February 08, 2006, 14:38:10 pm »
My son is 41/2 months old and just started sleeping through night two weeks ago...The last two nights he as woken at least six times after midnight.  He just whines or talks to himself and then goes back to sleep.  Any thoughts?

Leave him be, it's the best way to keep him falling asleep on his own. If you go to him when he doesn't need you, he'll learn to need you and call for you, so right now, as long as he's ok on his own, leave him alone. I know it's annoying, but it might avoid you trouble in the future.
