Has cold - waking at night asking for milk

Hey guys,

Nathan has had a pretty bad cold for a week now.  Just won't drink much or eat at all during the day.  (Can't blame him).
His milk intake is less than half the normal ounces, he is drinking water, but if we can get one meal in him we're doing great.

The last 2 nights though, he has woken up between 1 and 3 SCREAMING for milk.  I gave him some and he sucked all 6 ounces down QUICKLY.  Then fell right back to sleep.

He is obviously hungry, but I do NOT want to get into a habit of this.  Any advice/suggestions?  Would you give it to him?

When Holly was poorly before Christmas she ate nothing but milk for a week and then when she was recovering she wanted milk really early in the morning cos she'd woken up hungry. I gave it too her and now she's better she doesn't want it any more. I made sure that as soon as she was weel enoug to eat properly again i gave her her fav meals so she would have something better than miolk to fill her up with. In the morning i just say mo m,ilk till we've eaten brekkie then you can have some. And she's fine with that. To be honest i think she asks now cos its her fav thing not cos she got into a habit, she aslo asks for choc biscuits all day as she hd some at christmas!!!!! I haven't got any of those left to give her!!!

So i personally would give it to him and as soon as he's better go back to what you were doing.

Thanks!!!  That's what I was thinking, he needs it to get better, he IS hungry.

But you know how the LAST THING IN THE WORLD you want is to start a night waking habit!!!LOL
