MOVED: How am I doing...asks JMKca

The original post by JMKca read:

Hi again,
I'm just starting PU/PD w/ my nine month old.  He usually nurses 4-6 times a night and comes into my bed around 1am.  Last night he woke up at 12:30 am and was comforted but proceded to wake up every 20 minutes until I nursed him at 2am.  Then he slept till 5am.  My hubby gets up for work then so I brought him into my bed, which is farther from the noise, nursed him and he went back to sleep until 6:45am.  Not bad considering yesterday he was up for the day at 5 am.  I need opinions though.  Should I drop the 2 am feeding altogether.  He ate a lot at it last night.  I'm trying to nurse less time each night.  What about the 5 am one?  I would love for him to sleep through the night till 6 ish.  Thanks ladies- oh, one more question- He is a major snacker, usually nursing about 17 times a day.  (won't eat solids)  Since I've read the book I've gotten him down to ten or so.  That is about once every two hours.  Considering he doesn't eat solids, and I want him to sleep through the night how does that sound?

Thanks,
Janine
