4 am wakings
« on: February 12, 2006, 01:25:02 am »
My 7 month old DS has been sleeping thru the night (8PM-7AM) since4 months.  For the past 4 days, he has woken up at 4 am crying, and is having the hardest time getting back to sleep!
I cannot identify any cause for the wakings...routine has been the same, no new foods, no illness...and he seems WIDE awake!
Should I continue with PU/PD when he is not crying, unless I walk away?  Should I go into his room at 3:45 and start "whispering" before he wakes up?

if it is the same time every night i would try wake to sleep, if it works for your ds then it would be so much better than pu/pd, all the best and hope that things resolve quickly
