Does spit up = a burp?

Just wondering if when my lo spits up while we try to burp her if this can be counted as a burp, or if we should keep trying to get one out of her?

Hi!  :)
I'm not positive, but my first thoughts would be yes it counts...it's more of a "chunky" burp for lack of better words.  :-[ ;)

If he spits up alot, try burping him halfway through the feeding.  My first guy never NEVER spit up.  I was soooo lucky.  My second guy spit up constantly until I started burping him mid feed.  It didn't stop entirely, but it made a big difference.
