Soy Formula question
« on: February 27, 2006, 09:23:29 am »
I've recently put my LO onto soy formula to control excess spit-up and fussiness (vast improvement before, during and after feeding times).  She's on Isomil which I'm happy with so far.  They only thing I'm concerned about is that it doesn't have the DHA/ARAs that her previous milk-based formula had.   Are there any soy brands out there that contain DHA/ARAs, and do you think I'm being over-concerned that Isomil doesn't have them?
Many thanks...

I use Isomil Advance with Iron (I am not sure if that's the same thing that you are using), and that formula does contain DHA and ARA. The one I use has the teddy bear with the pink blanket (to help you identify it).

Yeah, I use the same one.  It is made by Similac and it does contain DHA and ARA.  I have had good success with this for my dd.
