Wants to continually eat or throws fit????
« on: February 27, 2006, 19:49:02 pm »
My ds wants to be eating the whole time we are eating, so every meal feels like a rush.  He also wants to be eating everytime we are in the kitchen.  If we clean him up when his dinner is finished and try to continue he cries horribly.  Usually we will continue to give him other things, like a rice cake or puffs, but I really feel he is getting enough to eat prior to that.  I really think he would eat constantly if we let him.  Does anyone have any ideas?  If we are all done and ready to leave the kitchen and we tell him he just ate and doesn't need anything else yet and he throws a fit, should we ignore it and go about or business?  Sometimes we will try distraction, but if he continues we usually let him have at it.  Is this causing trust issues???
