should 4MO be on 3hr EASY when sick?
« on: March 04, 2006, 14:37:45 pm »
Hello everyone, my DS is 19 weeks old, and he has been on a 4hr EASY since 12 weeks, he used to eat from 6 to 8oz each feed plus a DF (he took 3oz in this), but now he has a terrible flu, and he's eating maximun 3oz each take. So my question is, should i take him back to a 3hr EASY during his sickness, or just keep at the 4hr schedule?? Please help.

Thank you in advance

Hello  :)
Sorry your little one is under the weather  :( hope he feels better soon.   If it were me, I would keep him on the 4hr schedule.  He is most likely not taking as much because he isn't feeling well and I suspect that if you were to switch to the 3hr he wouldn't take as much anyway.  Though when he starts to get his appetite back you might find that it is sooner than the 4hr at first. HTH  :)
