When we transitioned Tyler, we gave him bottles of just whole milk for a few days, then we started dropping them. We'd drop a bottle, give him a few days to adjust his solids intake, then drop another. Some folks have been able to give their LO a sippy and they gulp it down like a bottle, but Tyler was more of a sipper so we just gave him the sippy with meals and snacks and periodically throughout the day. It took him a couple of weeks before his milk intake was anywhere near where it should be, but he got there.

After we got rid of the daytime bottles, we kept the bedtime one for another couple of months because we were terrified to get rid of it. When we finally did at 15 mo, he hardly even cared!

hmm, thanks, I am not completely sure of what to do, and if she will even like the milk by itself.  I have been making the ratio less and less formula and more whole milk to start. I may start with the afternoon bottle and then morning and keep the nighttime one alittle longer....right now she i into her bottles more than solids so this may be hard.
